Everything is Energy. You are Energy. You are an electro-magnetic field of Energy, which goes beyond the limits of your physical body. The infamous “aura” actually exists.

And as genius Nikola Tesla put it so well, “if you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” Secrets of the universe, and secrets of health.

Here’s an excerpt of the existing scientific literature showing energy healing results on humans and animals, which explains why there is a form of energy healing practicioner in each japanese hospital (in this case, a reiki master). By removing energetical blocks in our energy pathways (some of them being the meridians), the body can come back to balance and heal itself naturally. When you don’t feel well, be is physically, emotionally, or stressed/ troubled, behind that there is an energetic imbalance. Restoring energetic balance makes you feel more at peace, makes you usually sleep better and be more joyful.

Below are some studies regarding reiki, the grand father of the methods we use, which are much more powerful as they incorporate the latest discoveries in quantic physics in the last 30 years.

1. Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses

  • “Biofield therapies: helpful or full of hype? A best evidence synthesis.” (2014)
    • This systematic review examined randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of biofield therapies, including Reiki and therapeutic touch. The authors found that while some studies suggested potential benefits, the overall quality of evidence was low, and the studies were often small and poorly controlled. They concluded that there is no compelling evidence to support the clinical efficacy of biofield therapies.

  • “Reiki for the treatment of fibromyalgia: a randomized controlled trial.” (2008)
    • This study investigated the effects of Reiki on fibromyalgia symptoms.

2. Individual Studies with Positive Outcomes

“Effects of Reiki on anxiety, depression, pain, and physiological factors in community-dwelling older adults.” (2010)

This study found that Reiki significantly reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression in older adults. The authors suggested that Reiki could be a beneficial complementary therapy for these populations. However, the study was relatively small, and further research would be needed to confirm these findings.

“The effect of distant Reiki on pain in patients with cancer: a pilot study.” (2003)

This pilot study explored the effects of distant Reiki on pain in cancer patients. The results indicated that distant Reiki might reduce pain levels, although the study’s small size and lack of rigorous controls limit the strength of its conclusions.
